Selected facts from the obituary of Mrs. H. O. Albin published in The Texas Spur on 21 Aug 1958.
Funeral services for Mrs. H. O. Albin, 83, were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p. m. in the First Methodist Church, Spur, Rev. John Rakestraw officiating.
Mrs. Albin died last Thursday in Wesley Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma following a stroke on July 21. Interment was in Spur Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Born in Georgia in 1875, Mrs. Albin came to Dickens County in 1917. She married H. O. Albin who preceded her in death in 1940. She made her home here until 1948 when she went to Oklahoma to stay with her daughters.
Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Joe. A. Stotts, and Miss Julia Mae Albin, Oklahoma City, three sons Henry, Tulsa, OK and John and Ferrell both of Spur.
