    HUGHES. -- Houston, Texas, March 30. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Howard R. Hughes, wife of the president of the Hughes Tool Company, who died here last night, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home. Her young son, Howard R. Hughes, Jr., who is in the Thatcher School at Ojai, Cal., is on his way home, accompanied by his aunt, Mrs. Rupert Hughes, wife of the novelist. Besides her husband, inventor of the rotary drill bit, and her son, Mrs. Hughes is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. P. Houston and Miss Annette Gano of Houston, and a brother, R. Chilton Gano of Chicago.
