At some point between 1913 and 1920, Mary Peace, Willard Peace and Gladys Peace, whose parents have died, go to live with Alice and Lee Forshee in Joachim Township, Missouri. Mary E. Peace remembered as a small child, riding on the train with her "Aunt Alice." During the train trip, she had the measles and was wrapped in a sheet so no one could see her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been allowed on the train. This story was told to her sister-in-law, Mary Peterson (Mrs. Bill Peterson).
