A. J. Wileman, 86, Milton Junction, died suddenly at 3 p.m. Wednesday in memorial hospital, Edgerton, where he had been taken that morning.
He was born in Derbyshire, England, on December 13, 1869, and came to the United States with his family at the age of 12. They settled on Albion Prairie for a short time, later moving to Busseyville where he lived until 1903, when they moved to Milton Junction where they have since lived.
He was associated with the dairy business for 55 years before retiring from Armour and Company in 1939.
He was a member of Milton Lodge No. 161, F. and A. M.
He was married to Mary E. Sherman on June 16, 1897.
Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Warner, Madison; Mrs. Cressie Burdick, Wauwatosa; Mrs. Wilna Chadsey, Pom Pano Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Florence Kelly, Milton Junction; two sons, Alfred G. Wileman and Harry Wileman, Milton Junction.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. A great grandchild preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held in the Albrecht funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday, with Rev. C. V. Dawson officiating and burial will be in Milton Junction cemetery.
