    Ogden Gonzales, aged 64 years, a native of Gonzales, passed away at Gonzales on Saturday, December 24 at 3:30 a.m. Deceased had been ill for many years. He was a prominent citizen of this town and parish and was known and liked throughout the parish. His passing is moiurned by a large number of friends and relatives. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, the former Miss Maud Little; three sons, Whitney, Alton, and Vernon Gonzales, all of New Orleans; also three brothers, Mayor Joseph Gonzales of Gonzales, Robert E. Lee Gonzales of Sorrento, and sims Gonales of St. Amant; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Dupuy of Gonzales and Mrs. Andrew Little of French Settlement, and one grandchild. the funeral services took place here on Christmas morning, immediately after high mass, with Rev. Father E. Hubert officiating. Interment was in the Gonzales Catholic cemetery and was largely attended by a number of sorrowing friends and relatives.
