    QUAY 3 FREMONT PIONEER, ALEX McPHEE DIES- Hemlock, Michigan, Alex McPhee, 67 years old, died Wednesday at his home in Fremont Township. He was born in Canada, but had lived in Saginaw County for many years . He was a member of Guardian Angel church, Fremont Township. He leaves one daughter, Sadie McPhee of Saginaw; one son, Archie McPhee, Fremont Township, one sister, Mrs. Sarah Jackman of Detroit an d three brothers, Michael McPhee of Chicago, Neil McPhee, Park Hill, Ontario and John McPhee, Fremont township. The funeral will take place from the home at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning and at 9:30 o' clock from Guardian Angel church. Rev. Fr. Robert Neuman of Hemlock will officiate and burial will be in St. Charles Cem..

    The 1920 census of Fremont Township, Saginaw Co., Michigan - ennumeration district 163, page 203 shows Alexander McPhee, daughter Sadie and son Archie. In this census, Alexander is reported as immigr ating in 1879 and becoming naturalized in 1888 .
