Alexander Robert Hutchinson
Facts and Events
Alexander Robert Hutchinson was baptised on 2nd February 1863 at Deptford Chapel in the parish of Bishopwearmouth and town of Sunderland, County Durham. He was the son of Mary Hutchinson, formerly Glenny, and her husband Robert Hutchinson, both of whom worked in the paper making industry.
In 1869, when he was six years old, Alexander's mother died. The 1871 census finds Alexander living with his father, siblings, and a lady named Mary who would become his stepmother in 1873 (although the 1871 census already describes her as Robert's wife). Similarly, Alexander was living with his father, stepmother and siblings in Sunderland in the 1881 census. He has yet to be researched after 1881.
