Saw your post. I am a descendant of Lindsey Carson by his son Hampton Carson 1812-ca1850. I have nothing on Sarah nor Eleanor Carson but reportedly Alexander Carson was born ca 1769 (I suspect a bit earlier) in Iredell Co., NC. He was married to an Anne Hudgens in Lincoln County, KY. Reportedly they are the parents of Alexander Carson, Jr. 1790-1835/36. This is very interesting if true because Alexander Carson was a member of the Lewis & Clark Expedition (would have been 15-17at the time). Alexander II later became a very early trapper in the Pacific Northwest and was killed by indians in Oregon.
