    Albion was the son of Henry Hartley and Mary (Rushton) Hartley.

    Albion married Elizabeth G. Foulds on 24 September 1874 at Saint John the Evangalist, Great Marsden.

    Albion was choirmaster at the Bethel Chapel in Colne.

    In 1881 Albion was Manager at the Cotton Mill.

    In 1901 the family lived near Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Albion was an Insurance Agent.

    Two sons, Conrad Robert Hartley and Ughtred Harold Hartley died in early childhood.

    He was the father of Wallace Henry Hartley, the remarkable, and brave bandmaster whom died on the R.M.S. Titanic in 15 April 1912. Find a grave Memorial #7980.
