Corrected surname Chesebrough spelling and changed it to Alternate Name. Albert changed his family name in the mid 1800's and is so engraved in gravestones in Stonington's Evergreen cemetery.

The spelling is also engraved on descendant family gravestones in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma.

The name is so recorded today when possible. However, early text records and even current electronic records did not and do not always contain or accept the apostrophe after the "o". - 30 Dec 2022
