    Albert H. Brintnall, 90, a lifelong resident of Mansfield passed away on Wednesday Januray 6, 2010 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attlboro. He was the beloved husband of Beverly R. (Chamillard) Brintnall. Mr. and Mrs. Brintnall were married on March 18, 1944.

    He was born in Mansfield on April 23, 1919 and was the dear son of the late Lizzie Brintnall.

    Albert grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield public schools and was a graduate of the former Attleboro Trade School.

    Mr. Brintnall was a retired Machine Engraver and had been employed at the former L.G. Balfour Co. in Attleboro for 34 years before retiring in 1982. He had formerly worked for the former Mansfield/Foxboro Bus Co. and at the Robbins Co. in Attleboro.

    Al was an avid car enthusiast his entire life and was a life member and former treasurer of the South Shore Antique Auto Club in Hanson and was also a life member of the Antique Club of America and a member of the Hudson Essex & Terraplane Club, a worldwide car organization. His love of cars was a value and hobby he shared with his children and grandchildren

    Mr. Brintnall was a member of the Balfour Gold Dusters Club, enjoyed collecting coins, woodworking, gardening, times spent with his family and was the number one fan of the Boston Red Sox.

    In addition to his beloved wife of over 65 years he is also survived by his devoted children David L. Brintnall and his wife Joanne of Pinellas Park, Florida, Dale J. Brintnall of Randolph, Vermont, Donna K. Rueger and her husband Bruce of Waterville, Maine, Thomas A. Brintnall of Mansfield and Gregory B. Brintnall and his wife Carolyn of Mansfield. He was the father in law of the late Lillian Brintnall and is also survived by his cherished 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 nieces.

    Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday January11th at 1:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield. Burial will be at a later date in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.

    Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 10th from 3-6 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.

    In lieu of flowers, Mr. Brintnall’s family has requested that donations in his memory be made to Old Colony Hospice One Credit Union Way Randolph, MA 02368-4633
