- Possibly she is the Agnes de Arderne who was the wife of Hugh, son of William de Cahagnes and Adelais. This Agnes had a son, Alexander. The family is discussed by L.F. Salzman in Sussex Archaelogical Collections, Volume 63, pages 180 to 202.
