At home on Friday, May 31st, 1996. Mrs. Elizabeth "Bette" Buell of London in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Marshall E. Buell. Loving mother of Lynne Hartman and her husband Tom of Toronto, JoAnne Hofer and her husband Frank of Thamesford, and Cindy Hartman of London. Dear grandmother of Ian Hofer and his friend Shannon, Adam Hofer and his wife Jen, and Ryan Hofer. Sister of Margaret Douglas and Ruth Reed. Also survived by her step-mother Vera Warner, and her sister-in-law Audrey Porter. Bette served as a volunteer with the Child Life Program at Children's Hospital of Western Ontario. Visitation in the Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, (Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.) where the funeral and committal service will be conducted on Monday, June 3rd at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Stan McDonald of Siloam United Church officiating. Cremation. Interment of ashes to take place in Prince Edward Island at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
