Wróbel Adolf - górnik, hokeista Górnika Katowice i Legii Warszawa, reprezentant Polski (22), olimpijczyk z Cortina d' Ampezzo (1956).

Urodzony 19 października 1932 w Katowicach, syn Antoniego i Marty Wechowskiej (najmłodszy z trzech braci Antoni, Alfred, Adolf), wykształcenie podstawowe (górnik). Hokeista, napastnik, Wychowanek Siły Giszowiec (1947-1949), zawodnik Górnika Janów (1949-1952), OWKS Kraków (1952-1953), Legii Warszawa (1953-1957), Górnika i GKS Katowice (1957-1965). Zdobył z tymi klubami 8-krotnie tytuł mistrza Polski: 1954-1957 (Legia), 1958, 1960, 1962, 1965 (Górnik) i 4-krotnie wicemistrza kraju (1950, 1952 (Naprzód Janów), 1959, 1961 (Górnik).

22-krotny reprezentant Polski (strzelec 3 bramek), olimpijczyk (1956) i uczestnik MŚ 1955 na terenie RFN, gdzie nasza drużyna zajęła 7 m. Zawodnik bardzo bojowy, dobry technicznie, szybki. Brat olimpijczyków Antoniego i Alfreda. Żonaty (Wanda), ma syna Mariana (1958), który był również hokeistą Naprzodu Janów i GKS Tychy. Od 1987 mieszka w Niemczech (Göppingen).

Adolf Wróbel (born 19 October 1932) is a Polish former ice hockey player. He played for Górnik Katowice, Legia Warsaw, and GKS Katowice during his career. He also played for the Polish national team at the 1956 Winter Olympics and the 1955 World Championship. Two of his brothers, Alfred and Antoni, also played for Poland at the Olympics; Alfred in both 1952 and 1956, and Antoni in 1952.
