Adelaide was apparently the daughter of Jesse Yount and Sibella Tinnin. Their 1830 Census record in Cape Girardeau Co. MO showed two girls in the 0-5 age bracket. One was Mary Yount, b. 1 Feb 1826, as reported in "Tinnin Treks", which did not identify another daughter in that age bracket. The Jesse Yount family was listed just a few lines from John "Tinnian", whose household had two sons under 10, William Benjamin and Hugh Allen Tinnin of later records.
