After his marriage, the couple moved to Elyria, Ohio, and he worked for the Overland Car Company. They had 4 children born in Elyria. They briefly moved to Los Angeles, California in 1917. Next they moved to Wabash, Indiana, and Adam worked as a millwright at the Wabash Coating Mill. Later, he worked for the Big Four R. R. where he was killed.

It is not known by this compiler where Adam is buried. He does not appear in James Haupert's index of Urbana burials.
