499. ABRAM BARNES HOOE: (383 Isaac) Born "Barnesfield," King George, April 12, 1871; died Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D. C., sept 19, 1934; married Eliza Nutt Mitchell on November 12, 1901. They had one child. He studied medicine at Columbian College, now George Washington University, receiving his M. D. degree in 1896. During World War I, he served in France as commander of a field hospital. He was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a founder of the George Washington Medical Society. He was a Past Master of the St. John's Lodge No. 11, F. A. A. M., a Knight Templar, Shriner, and a member of the University Club. Children (HOOE) 614. Margaret - born November 4, 1905. NFI.
