Facts and Events
Abraham was initially admitted to Mount Joy Soldiers Orphan School in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was transferred to White Hall School in Camp Hill, Cumberland County in 1866 with a group of other students. He remained there until his 16th birthday (20 Oct. 1871) when he was discharged. Notes indicate he was employed in a nail factory. At the time of his death, Abraham was a retired baggage man for Pennsylvania Railroad. References
