From John L Overholt to Don Lisby 1981: "My estimate that Abraham lived in New Britain Twp because there was an
Abraham in the militia of the twp in 1779 and 1780 (
PA Archives Ser 3 Vol 5/780
) and in the tax list for 1784 (
PA
Archives Ser 3 Vol 10?/453
) This was wrongly attributed to Tory John's son.
