Circa 1871 Abraham appears to have moved from his home in Vaughan Township to Berlin in Waterloo County, married and settled there. He is not present in Berlin in Lovell's Directory of 1871. Wilhelmina's death registration asserts that she had "lived her lifetime at her place of death" which was given as 50 Peter Street. Abraham also died there four years after his wife's death.

In 1875 the family group moved back to Vaughan Township temporarily around the time of Eldon Christopher's birth. Otherwise, they appear to have spent their lives in the region of Kitchener.

Father: Valentine Keffer, born illegible; mother: name illegible, born Ontario. Informant: Mrs E Vanderhart of ?? Peter Street, daughter.

    The basic details on the registration were typed, the cause of death section was handwritten. In filming, the contrast of dark and light on the two columns of the document were not taken into consideration. In consequence, the basic details are almost impossible to read.
