Parentage

Several Ancestry Member Trees claim that this Abraham Custer was a son of Johann George Custer (1741-1829) and his wife Margaret Kiser, but based upon the birthdates of Abraham and George Custer (some 9 years apart), they certainly appear to be probable siblings (as other sources have surmised) and not father-son. Additional research may be necessary.
