No one is sure where he was buried. Some family sources say beside his brother, John D. Frakes, in Locust Creek Cemetery, Brookfield, Linn County, Missouri -- but John did not die until 1874. Note that the government recorded a headstone being shipped to Laclede, Missouri, which was the nearest railhead to Brookfield. |
