    "Jabez Brown3 (Lydia2 Howland, John1) … married (2) at Barrington intention 14 February 1740/1 Abijah Wheaton. Is she the Abijah Wheaton born at Rehoboth 14 March 1686/7; daughter of Ephraim and Mary (Mason) Wheaton? … On 5 April 1766 an inventory of the estate of Abijah Brown, widow of Jabez was taken and on 21 April John Brown was appointed administrator. An account dated 30 January 1769 includes items for 'Looking after her when Lame for Six months attendance; and 'looking after her in her Last Sickness five weeks.'"
