Source:Hoyt, David W. Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury, Massachusetts, p. 902, says in reference to Abigail, d/o Caleb Currier and Abigail Roberts, b. 1741, that "An Abigail m. Apr. 10, 1766[Hv], Samuel Cole of Boxford". This is repeated virtually verbatim in Source:Currier, Philip Joseph. Currier Family Records of U.S.A. and Canada, Vol. 2, p. 135. However, the age at death above refutes this. It was probably her mother, but no evidence to support this speculation has been located.
