- ↑ There is a long discussion about Abigail's identity on the Family page, showing the traditional identifications of her as daughter of Thomas of Billerica are probably impossible, but certainly very unlikely. Her husband's probate (Suffolk 4062, abstracted on Nathaniel's page) contains a charge for "the ffuneral Charges of ... & Abigail his Wife who dyed about a fortnight before her husband". We don't know exactly when he died, so can't come up with a more precise estimated death date for Abigail, but the first probate document was dated 4 Jul 1718.
