Sometime after his settlement in New Jersey Thomas Maskell's wife Clemons died. Afterward, in 1700, he married Mercy the eldest daughter of Thomas and Ruth Stathem. By this marriage he had three daughters, Mary, who was born September 4th 1701, Mercy and Abigail.
