Mrs. Bement was born 1 September, 1671, survived her husband and died before 22 September 1724. … A second administration of his [John Bement's] estate was granted 22 September, 1724, to Dr. Samuel Highley, of Simsbury, Connecticut, who had married … daughter Abigail."
