    ABEL, b. at N. L. March 3, 1682-83 ; bap. April 29, 1683 ; m. at E. H. July 17, 1703, Hannah Bray, who had d. before March 25, 1733 ; (2d) at N. L., Martha Miner, who joined the ch. at E. H. Nov. 6, 1737, and that at N. L. Aug. 23, 1767, by letter. She is mentioned in his will, dated Ap. 17, 1746, proved Oct. 2, 1752, of which his son Abel is named executor, and who accepted the trust Nov. 7, 1752. The inventory amounted to several hundred pounds.

    Sept. 23, 1739, he deeded to his son Samuel Willey land, with house, &c., in the north part of Lyme, which he had of Nathaniel Darrow. This land was sold by Samuel Willey, Feb. 20, 1743, to Zachariah Willey, for £73, and the latter sold to Samuel Willey, (date not given,) "for £30 in bills of credit, or £7 10 in lawful money, two and a half acres of land, being the northwest corner of that land which my honored father Isaac Willey gave me."
