BRINK, Abel, age 52, of Oak Harbor, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 19, (1952) following a lingering illness. Mr. Brink had lived in Oak Harbor for the past nine years and was formerly a resident of Lynden district since 1916. Surviving are his wife, Jennie; one daughter, Mrs. Allan Ramerman, of Seattle; two sons, Alfred and Gordon, both of Lynden; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Hoksbergen, Anacortes; four brothers, George, of Everett, John, Ralph and Henry, all of Sedro Woolley, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 22, at 2 p. m. from the Gillies Funeral Home in Lynden with the Rev. J. R. Van Dyke, of Oak Harbor officiating. Interment, Monumenta Cemetery.
