    Abbie B

  12. The birth record gives her name as Betsey Abby. Every other record has the Abby part first. Most census records that have a middle initial use L, presumably for Lesure, but 1855, 1910 and possibly 1900 have Abby or Abbie B. The death record is indexed as Abbie P, but may be a misreading of Abbie B.The gravestone cannot be read from the image, but the memorial page says Abbie E, which could either so, or it could be a misreading of B, or could be an assumption of E for Elizabeth, of which Betsey is a nickname. It appears that she pretty consistently went by Abby Betsey, and the rest appear to be assumptions or misinterpretations.
