    BOERHAVE, Alice, age 80 years, of 203 Grover St., Lynden, passed away at her home, Tuesday evening, Dec. 2, (1958). She had been a resident of Lynden since 1902. For over 40 years she had owned and operated the Boerhave Millinery & Ready-to-Wear Shop in Lynden. She retired last June and had always been active in community affairs. She was a member of the Lynden Chapter No. 12, Order of Eastern Star. Survivors are: one son, Jay Boerhave of Bellingham; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Lee of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Berry Wright of Yakima; one brother, Ralph Pilon of Lynden, and one sister, Mrs. Grace Boerhave of Lynden. Funeral services will be conducted in the Gillies Funeral Home, Friday, Dec. 5, at 2 p. m. with Lynden Chapter No. 12, Order of Eastern Star officiating, Mrs. Phillip Sturrock, W. M. Cremation will follow.
