    A. J. TALBOTT DIES

    Word was received in Leavenworth last evening of the death in Kansas City, Kansas, of A[lbert] J. Talbott. He died of a complication of diseases at three o'clock yesterday afternoon. The funeral will be held Wednesday. He died at the home of his son, I[ngram] J[ones] Talbott.

    Mr. Talbott came to Leavenworth in the early days and was advertising solicitor and bookkeeper for The Times for some years. He left the city about fifteen years ago and has since been engaged in business in Kansas City, Kansas.

    Mr. Talbott was an honest and highly respectable citizen and had many friends in Leavenworth who will be grieved to hear of his death.
