Police-Constable Shannon said that about six o'clock on the previous evening he was on duty at Parson's Green where he found Connor with a great number of people. Two men were fighting, and the prisoner, who was drunk, was in the ring and acted as a backer. Witness advised them to disperse, but Connor was one of the first to refuse.
