Lewis this is a copy of the family pedigree. I found it in fathers Bible. Grandfather Chas. Burnett was born in London Nov. 1768; and came to Richmond, Va before he was twenty yrs. old, with a man named Wm. Parrott, who was employed to do the stucco work at the Capitol in Richmond. Our grandmother's name was Mary Ann Jouills. Her mother was born in Land's End, Cornwall, England. Her father was a sea Captain. Her step-father was a Frenchman named Alexandre Leron. She was reared at Shoco Hill, Richmond, Va. Their land was called Tamickler, Bowling Green Place. Her parents at her marriage gave her a carriage horse & two Negro slaves, a man and a woman. They set grand-father up in the grocery business. He employed a man named Daniel Timmens as a clerk. They also had two fisheries Shad & herring. Grandmother was born June 17, 1776. Grandmother was married April 18, 1792
