Personal Communication from Caroline (Woerner) Spycher.

From this personal communication, Caroline (Woerner) Spycher (now deceased) wrote:

"Jacob Woerner, son of Michael and Katherine (Schaberlia) Woerner, of Stuttgart, Wurtemberg, brought his two brothers, John and Henry, to America in 1853 and they settled in Adrian Township, Lenawee County, Michigan.

They were pleased with this move and Jacob returned home a year later, and, his father having died, he brought his mother, and his other brothers and sisters to Adrian Township where they made a permanent home as farmers."

Mrs. Spycher is the person who supplied me with photo copies of the Exit Visa and its translation for Martin Woerner and his family from the Kingdom of Wurttemberg in 1854.
