Mrs. Julia Ann Wilson, widow of Andrew Wilson, died at the home of her son, Mike Wilson, in Franklin, Sunday, March 1, at the age of 96. The funeral was held at the house Monday, Rev. Varner officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Tecumseh cemetery. Mr. And Mrs. Andrew Wilson were among the pioneer residents of Franklin township.

From the TECUMSEH HERALD, 13 March 1896, Page 5, Column 1:

In noting the death of Mrs. Julia Ann Wilson, of Franklin, last week, an error was made in stating that the deceased was the widow of Andrew Wilson, It should have read, Richard Wilson.

Note: They corrected the real goof. However, much more reliable information indicates that she was at most 92 at her death, and most probably only 91.

 Mrs. Julia Ann Wilson died at the home of her son Michael, in Franklin last Saturday night, aged 96 years.  The funeral was held Monday afternoon. ---- Tecumseh News.
