Be it remembered, That upon this 26th day of August 187~ before Me J. Y. Hamilton Register for the probate of wills and granting Letters of Administration within and for said county came Lemuel Cooper, Parker S. Johnson the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing attached Will of Moses Cooper deceased, who after being duly sworn according to law depose and: That they were present at the execution of said Will---saw the testater sign the same--- heard him publish it as and for his last will and testament: and they at his request, in his presence of each other, subscribed their names thereto as witnesses; and that at the time of doing so, the said testater was of sound and disposing mind and memory, and understanding, to the best of their knowledge, observation, and belief:

I Moses Cooper, considering the uncertainty of the mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and testament. 1st, I will that all my just debts that may be owing by me at my death, together with my funeral expenses shall in the first place be paid and satisfied. and lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of real and personal estate I bequeath to my beloved wife Christiana Cooper. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 5th day of December, One thousand eight hundred and seventy
