Leoma Feaster Leoma M. Feaster, 102, of Lafayette, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at George Davis Manor. Born Dec. 7, 1902, in Pettit she had resided in Lafayette since 1947. She married Lloyd Powell in 1937 and he preceded her in 1947. She married Herman Feaster in 1963, and he preceded her in 1982.

Mrs. Feaster worked as a clerk at Fannie May Candy from 1944 until 1966. She was a member of the Heritage United Methodist Church and the United Women's Society. She was a 75-year member and past Worthy Matron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 103 in Russiaville, former president of the Tippecanoe County Home Demonstration Club and a member of Phi Beta Psi sorority. Surviving are two sons, Jack Feaster (wife: Nancy) of South Bend and Donald Feaster (wife: Ann) of Lafayette; and two daughters, Barbara Campbell (husband: Donald) of Florida and Shirley Conkright (husband: William) of Frankfort.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to 2 p.m. services Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Interment Rest Haven Memorial Park. Surviving are 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to the Heritage United Methodist Church.
