Gulbrand Eivindson Solbjør (1634-1723)'s father was Eivind Solbjør (vol c, p. 302 of "Etnedal" by Harald Hvattum - be aware there are many errors in his books...) The page says he was the first known (in records I suppose) farmer on Solbjør, listed in the Manntal (like a census) in 1647. He's also in the 1664 census, listed as 65 years old. He died in 1696, listed as 116 years old! Another record the Valdres Samband Lag has says he was Eivind Gulbrandson Solbjør, 116 years old, dying 5-21-1696. He had 4 sons: Gulbrand b. 1634 m. Barbro Bjørnsdtr. Sørflaten; Øystein b. 1644; Knud b. 1648 & Ola b. 1651.
