Mrs. Nella Baker Dies on Visit at Daughter's Home Mrs. Nella Brown Baker, 70, of 480 Woodruff ave., a native of DeRuyter and a former Fayetteville resident, died suddenly Tuesday while visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Melvin Thompson at Haver de Grace, Md. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Besides her daughter she is survived by a son, Dumond H. Baker; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Alonzo Brown of Hartford, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the John G. Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Arnold Westcott, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at 2104 S. Salina st. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
