Hollywood Calif - March 9 - Alfred Semnacher, motion picture man who was a prominent witness to the trials of Roscoe Arbuckle at San Francisco died today at his home here. Semnacher was at one time manager for Miss Virginia Rappe who died after being taken suddenly ill at a party in Arbuckle's apartments in San Francisco hotel on Labor Day 1921. Semnacher also was present at the party and was prosecuting witness in the trials which resulted in Arbuckle's acquittal on a manslaughter charge.
