MySource:Rebekah Carlisle/Morris, Hilda Medaugh - Recollections

Hilda was one of my paternal aunts and the one I saw the most and knew the best because she & her husband, David, & family lived outside of Venedocia, where my grandparents (Paul & Violet Ashton) lived. My father, John Medaugh, who lived in Spencerville, worked for his brother-in-law, David Wayne Morris, on his farm and thus came into contact with my mother, Ruby.

Hilda & David were also members of the same church as my grandparents, Salem Presbyterian Church, in Venedocia.

Aunt Hilda knew more and shared more with me of her family's history, than any of my other aunts.

Hilda was born in 1926 and died in 2014.
