Mrs. V. Helene Beale
Port Huron: V. Helene Beale, 74 of 1515 Minnie St., died Sunday, May
16, 1982, in Port Huron Hospital.
She was born March 22, 1908, in Lawton, MI and lived in Port Huron most
of her life. She married Carroll Beale April 23, 1930, in Elkhart, Ind.
Mrs. Beale taught at Roosevelt Elementary School, retiring in 1972. She
was a member of the First Congregational Church and Black River Country
Club.
She is survived by her husband: a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Joan
Beale, Sterling Heights: and 3 granddaughters, Teri and Cisi Beale,
both of Sterling Heights, and Jami Beale, San Diego.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Arthur Smith Funeral Homes
South Chapel. The Rev. Dr Leroy M. Kutz Jr. of the Congregational
church. Will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harry Anderle, Reed Laughlin, Dale Norris Norm
Petttengill, Bob Hayes and Malcolm Crawford.
Visiting is from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society.
