When did your first see Caleb R. Davis after he returned from the Army and how do you fix that date?
Ans: in 1870 fix date from papers in possession
Was he then suffering from any disability?
Ans: yes
Of what did he complain and how was he affected?
Ans: from fistula and pain in side
How frequently have you seen him since your first acquaintance?
Ans: almost every week
Has he continued to suffer with such disability?
Ans: Yes
To what extent has he been disabled for manual labor thereby during each year within you knowledge?
Ans: In no year has he been abel to perform Make more than half hand
My means of knowing the facts of the case are these: that he has been in my employ a part of the time
