Ruby Josephine Korando, nee Davis, 85, of Columbia, Ill. formerly of Ava, Ill. born May 2 1914 in Cora City, died Saturday May 8, 1999 Columbia Convalescent Center, Columbia, Ill.

Mrs. Korando was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, Il.

Mrs. Korando was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Korando, who she married June 29, 1946 in Ava, Ill. and who passed away May 7, 1954, parents, Robert Nicholas and Clara nee Weissgerber, Davis, a son Phillip and two daughters, Marcella Jean and Georgia Sue. Surviving are a daughter, Loretta A. Peters of Columbia, Il. Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home, Ava, Ill., Burial will be in Glenn Cemetery, Jacob, Ill.
