Services Set Here Today for Edward Reeves

   Final rites for Edward Karl Reeves, 81-year-old retired bookkeeper for the City of Monroe’s engineering department were scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Gordon Avenue Methodist Church.  He was also the first Sunday School superintendent at the church.
   Mr. Reeves leaves his widow, Mrs. Harriet Reeves; two sons, Edward Jr., Baton Rouge and the Rev. Wallace Reeves, Monroe;  a daughter, Miss Mabel  Reeves, Monroe; two brothers, Sam Reeves, Marion, and M. O. Reeves, Monroe, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Buckley, Ruston and Mrs. J. C. Allen, Marion.
   Pallbearers were to be W. C. Sullivan, Joe Naff, T. G. Brown, Thomas Leigh, J. R. Roark and Henry Miller.
