Hollinshead Cemetery: Whiteside County, Illinois. Located off Spring Valley, Illinois Road on North side of road on top of bluff. A Mr. Nelson, and a Mr. Balk have homes built along side of cemetery. They purchased land in that locality and the cemetery was included. the cemetery is owned half and half. It is well kept. There are several stones that are fallen but have been stood upright alongside base. There are also some stones that have fallen and are almost completely covered with ground and grass there. There are two new and small stones of rose colored marble which say "pioneers". Each located on either side of the cemetery. We were informed that these were locattor markers for the cemetery which have just recently been put in.
