This is an interesting account of the life and times of George and Sheila Cleland. It contains a lot of dates relating to to George's immediate family.It is also a very insightful look at wartime Britain. Some stories, for example the one about he managed to nominate his father for the MBE he received, explained a lot. It was also gratifying to know that the MBE had been preserved and that its location was divulged.
