This is the last will and testament of me James Kitto Miner of Sailors Gully, Eaglehawk with in the Colony of Victoria this 16m Day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine(1889) I give devise and bequest all my "property" including lands tenements and hereditaments and all my household furniture ready money goods and chattel and all my real and personal estate and affects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my beloved wife Catherine Kitto during her life. After her decease everything to be sold and the proceeds to be divided in equal shares amongst my children and my wife's children or their heirs administrators executors and assign to and for their own absolute use and benefit according to the nature and quality thereof respectively. Subject only to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the charges of proving and registering this my will. and I hereby appoint Thomas Con, Storekeeper Nathalie and William Steer Farmer Late of Charm  ??? executors of my will and hereby revoke all other wills. In witness where of I have herewrite set my hand the day and year above written.
