Parchment Certificate Royla Regiment of Artillery 21st Brigade These are to Certificate that No 96 Grigade Quater Master Sergeant Andrew Munro born in the Parish of Falkirk in or near the Town of Falkirk in the County of Stirling was enlisted at London for the East India Company Artillery on the 28th Ausgust 1848 at the age of 20 Years. That the Service he is entitled to reckon is 22 Years and 207 Days towards completion of his limited engagement, 22 Years 207 Days towards Pay and Pension. including y years ??That he is discharge in consequence of at his own requestion Free with Pension after 22 years of service. CHARACTER AND CONDUCT, AS REPORTED BY REGIMENTAL BOARD His character and conducthave been very good and he was when promoted in ?? of one Good conduct  ??? and would had he not been promoted have been now in ?? of four Good Conduct Badges L Lucas Captian and Mjor Commanding Royal Articlaery ?? ________________________ The Soldier's Character to be inserted only recmmendatory; if the general conduct of a Solier, whilst in Service, has been such as to five him no claim to have anything said in his favour, the space for character in the above certificate is to be cut off close under the balck line following the confirmation of his Discharge, thereby leaving no opportunity for any addition to be made after the Certificate is fiven to the Man. When a Soldier is discharged on account of disgraceful conduct, that will appear in the body of the Certificate.
